J.B Services Ltd - Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of manual labour services offered by J.B Services. By utilizing our services, you accept and agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

 

2. Description of Services

J.B Services specializes in various professional manual labour services, including but not limited to:

  • Garden clearance
  • Digging trenches and reinstating
  • Utility works
  • General maintenance
  • Painting
  • Plaster boarding
  • Rendering ... and other related services.

 

3. Quotations and Pricing

3.1. All initial estimates provided are subject to change upon a thorough site assessment or review of the full scope of work.

3.2. Final quotations will remain valid for [30 days] unless otherwise specified.

 

4. Payment Terms

4.1. Payment is due upon completion of services, unless previously agreed in writing.

4.2. Any invoice unpaid after 30 days may incur an interest charge at a rate of [10%] per annum.

 

5. Client's Responsibilities

5.1. Clients are required to secure necessary permits or permissions.

5.2. Ensure safe, clear access to the worksite.

5.3. Inform the Company of any specific site conditions or restrictions.

 

6. Modification and Cancellation

6.1. Any changes to the agreed scope of work might result in adjustments to the service fee.

6.2. Service cancellations made less than 48 hours before the scheduled work may incur a [15%] cancellation fee.

 

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1. J.B Services liability for damages, whether based on contract, tort, or other legal theory, shall not exceed the amount paid by the Client for the specific service causing the damage.

7.2. Under no circumstances shall the Company be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.

 

8. Warranty

8.1. The Company provides a [2 years] warranty on workmanship.

8.2. Warranties do not cover damages resulting from Client-provided materials or third-party services.

 

9. Force Majeure

The Company is not liable for any failure to perform due to unforeseen circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural calamities, government restrictions, or wars.

 

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be resolved in the courts covering Burnham-on-Sea, Somerset.

 

11. Dispute Resolution

All disputes shall first undergo mediation. If unresolved, parties may resort to legal action in the courts specified under the governing law.

 

12. Amendments

J.B Services retains the right to modify these Terms at any given time. Changes will be effective once communicated to the Client.
